This is a very basic drawing tutorial of a horse in a standard position. I threw a few tips in there which can be used when drawing horses in any position, but with drawing any animal the ultimate goal is to experiment and see what works best for you. This just happens to be what has worked for me in the past.  These can be applied to traditional drawing techniques as well, and other programs like Corel Painter/Draw, and The GIMP. Hope this can be helpful to somebody. ^^ |

That seems like it's really helpful way of doing it, because white stands out more to the eye! However, if you take long - like me - to do work, lots of times I imagine you'd get eye strain? We learned for designing websites that white text on a black background is like looking into the sun, for your brain. xD
And thanks for the comment regarding the hooves.
