Hi everyone,

Just letting you know, since I have a University Art Class, my portfolio (for Storyboard/Character Design) is due at the end of our school year. Our semester exam consists of a completed digital/traditional portfolio of a 30+ page comic. So, I've been writing up the script and today, I went into the final stages of drafting the plotline. I think it's really good!

Anyway, I left some "open spaces" so perhaps we can have a contest or two to have you, or your original character featured in the comic at sometime...if anyone's interested in something like that. I recently did a contest (elsewhere) for a specific name, and the name, "Libera Maria" won out...you'll see how it all ties together in the end.

I think you'll all really like it.

In other news, I may be having surgery this month...nothing's set in stone yet, but they're considering moving my gallbladder + appendix. I have a shitload of tests to do this week (as if I haven't done enough already, haha) but that will be some of the final decision making there. So, I'll keep you guys updated, but I may be back -- sans two organs!

Oh yeah, I suggested a Daily Deviation! And the artist, ~Kaduflyer got it. I'm so happy. It's a really good piece of Quasimodo the famous Bellringer of Notre Dame.

(Forgot to mention that, hehe. Make sure you all suggest dd's! There's some amazing art out there.)

Ooh, the contest idea sounds fun! Not sure how it'll go down though, lol. I'm sure you'll think of something neat.

And good luck with the surgery! It's definitely not fun and probably really exhausting. Hopefully it'll all go well for you. What is the surgery gonna be for?

Thank you. I'm not really sure either, since (as far as deviantART is concerned) I've never hosted any contests. If I do, it'll be farther into the script, once it's got some "followers" who'd actually be interested haha.

I've had exploratory surgery done before, so I pretty much know what to expect, but as far as a real surgery that removes organs...that'll be unusual for me. They're considering taking out my Gallbladder and/or Appendix depending on how the problem persists. I have some stomch issues, and they're thinking it may be affected by an outside cause, like a malfunctioning organ.
